S! all
i understand this topic is about quorum.
please let me tell you my idea about quorum,i have posted it in an older topic in english talking forum.
viewtopic.php?f=147&t=192296&p=2866420#p2866420"...i would like to recommend one or two things i think would improve gameplay, allthough i am not sure at all its possible to do.
i think that one of the major problems in a 24/7 open server is quorum.of course you cant really deny access to any player since it is a open server, but some times 3-4 fighter pilots with limited or no experience (who do not fully know or understand quorum concept) fly against multiple (10-11) experienced enemy bomber pilots (which of course are thankfull for the quorum....
) and the results in a few hours gametime can be from a few tanks or supply lost,to a few airports closed or depots destroyed or a lot of land and bases lost.the pilots who play later-on have to win all this back, but this time with blood and sweat
and against opposing forces...
i definetly think that this is unfair for both sides
to make all this a little bit more fair i came up with this idea:
what if damage is calculated proportional to the quorum?
that is if lets say from 6-18 players total ingame, damage counts half (half of all destroyed targets, especially ammo/fuel/repair etc etc,of course air kills count normal).if more than 18 players in game damage counts full.so there is no way a few daytime generals with a few hours of quorum can take over half of a map,or destroy completely what the other side was building for days....plus that is far more realistic since no bombers in real war would ever fly against undefended targets
i really dont know if that is possible at all,if not exactly like that then you guys could come up with something like that at least.
we all know what the prime time hours are in ADW,so these hours get extra credit like that, and players playing veeeery early in in the morning(yes,i found 9 red bombers 8.30 GMT+2 waiting for 3 blue...
) or veeery late at night have to reconsider.
thats it for know, sry for the long post
see you in the air..."
