hi,

I just had a dogfight with a YAk-9M.
First, I ripped his whole Ruder off. Well he could still turn pretty good!

Then, after some minutes, we where in a Headon, where I shoot his right wing off!
He passed me, and touched me a little bit, my right Aileron went off. Not to bad for a close Head on.

So he flew by me and all of a sudden, he exploded! There was no fire before or smth like that. He just exploded about 50m behind me in the Air, killing my Pilot and destroying my plane.

I tested Headons agains Yak9ms offline, about 30times, none of them ever exploded just because of the loss of a Wing.

So tell me, hows that possible?

I think i have answer you search.

You say you test it 30 timnes offline.... and never succes... this its the question friend, i think its a online consecuence.

Some times playing online players have delays about real succes... me succes sometime, i made a headon and survive.. one second later my plane expldes... problem its online troubles... my game says im alive.. but one second later from server my pc recibes bad notice... i crash on headon!! one second later im death.

some maths:
2 planes in head on, about 400 Km/h *2 = 800 Km/h combined speed, thats 800.000 meter by hour, so distance in 1 second was 222,2222 meter, whit a 500 ms delay (poor conexion) , it was more than 100 meter difference, in a 250 ms delay scenary (not so bad) you can see things 50 meter away from his "real" position, so what you explained in previous post, it's a collision in air explosion.
