We are about to start an open test, a mini-war on first 5-6 maps. Current tests do show much better resourse handling and more clear and logical ground forces actions. We need more pilots to give generator a stress-test. So, follow the news

All english-speaking friends, please do not register your squadrons until the closed test is over. After that ADW database will be cleaned out and a HEADS UP message will be posted in news. It will be few days before actual test war start, so you will have time to register and prepare.

I do not have an access to news section so i'm posting a HEADS UP here.

The open test will start tomorrow, 02.08.2011, afternoon. You can already register your squadrons and choose the planeset - adw.alkar.net is open, although il2 server is down. At the war start we'll skip one mission so all already registered squadrons will get their planes and should be ready to fly.

In the MOD file, there is a update.exe, Avira found TR/Dropper.Gen Trojan on it !!!!

According to -=Reds=-Falcon it is false-alarm. Anyhow, you'e not oblized to use update.exe and it is not needed for playing.

Hi there.

Its my first post so I want to just say Hi, and ask for sth. I m not the new one here, participated in few series of ADW but I didnt had account on forum to this day.

I have just installed new version of game at PC and installed mods, some names of planes,etc. I have only in russian language its nice from historical point but in practice I m quite confused.

How I can change language in my game now ? Adding "eng" to rts section in conf.ini file didnt helped ;(.

If there is any possibility to change it english speaking comunity would be very happy I think.

I suspect you have installed russian MOD. On the English version of adw.alkar.net there is the link to download English MOD. Or, to shortcut, here it is: http://files.warsib.com/OnlineMOD_v_3.04en.exe

Thank you sir for fast reply, unfourtunatelly I v just downloaded it and installed correctly, game is ok, but some names are still in russian ;[. Main titles are ok. I hope it wont make any further problems.

I have a problem, I installed the Mod over my old ADW Mod folder, worked.
Then I messed up everything and now I bought Il2 again from Steam! I patched it and put the mod over the new Il2 4.10.1
But its not working! It always says Il2 4.10.1

I can join the server but I dont see the Blue AF´s, only 1 red AF

I have the same problem with vanilla 4.101 patched with latest mod. See only red af at O7

SOLUTION:

Patch the game to 4.10!!! not 4.10.1
make sure the game runs in 4.10

Install the Mod and run your game with the NORMAL .exe

It works!

Recently our MOD makers were busy fixing problems in English MOD. The MOD was re-uploaded.

Please uninstall completely currently installed MOD.
Get the updated MOD from http://files.warsib.com/OnlineMOD_v_3.04en.exe
Install it onto clean 4.10.1 and launch modified IL2 to connect to ADW.
