Some of you may know it,and most not,that =HL= and =HLB= squadrons represented 335th_GR squadron in this war.
We decided to fly Red this ADW to make it a bit more interesting for us,but also to see the problems and difficulties red pilots have to deal with.
We experienced the fight for survival in humble Rata's against fast (diving
) Emil 109,the struggle of weak Yak-1 and even more weak(weapons) Mig against hungry 109 F-4's,to progressivelly balancing the war in the skies with P-40 (at last good weapons!),and ultimately having a good time with La-5 FN and later enjoy hunting with La-7.On the ground as =HLB= bombing squadron we had fun in i-15bis easily destroying columns while evading 20mm cannon
and occasionally killing the 109 pilot who was not carefull enough 
,flying il and then Pe-2 and last A-20.I think we did pretty good,considering that we flew for the first time with many of red planes,and we choose maybe the worst planeset for reds,with too many Migs
Our conclusions about fighter planeset is that nowdays it is mostly balanced.
RFF and TUS squadrons demostrated very well how blue machines should be flown,but i am also sure thet they discovered that it is not easy to defend tanks and columns low with them.
They are big squadrons with many pilots and so they have the advantage to fly in big groups and support each other,which is very important and something other smaller squadrons dont have,but they fight hard and they stay together,so,big Salute (S~) to =RFF= and =TUS= for good teamplay and good fights.
One thing that impressed us is how easy we got qualification points with i-16 for fighter and bomber planeset.We got qualification for 16 pilots in 24 hours(!),mostly by destroying ground units.
About bomber planeset,we enjoyed the Chaika very much,this little plane impressed us most,it was very good killing AAA and also very good in defending itself and killing Bf.IL without gunner,not so impressive
,and Pe-2 was really very fast and easy to fly,very good climbing and with very good diving and escaping,but also vulnerable,and we found targeting sight better in Ju-88,and of course SC bombs do more damage,so bombing must be more precise and accurate in Pe-2.We made a mistake and choose A-20G instead of A-20C,the G model is disapointing,the A-20C is superb plane.On the other hand,i think that Hs-129 in blue reserve is helping a lot,although i know that Hs must have strong fighter cover to survive,but it is capable of doing as much damage to tanks as IL.

Ich und einige Piloten von der Rotesseite haben vor, am nächste Krieg auf der Blauenseite teilzunehmen. Wichtige Gründe dafür sind ,dass mehrheit des Blau sind uberzeugten , dass die Blau haben keine Chance den Krieg zugewinnen . Sie behaupten dabei, dass laufende Rotesflugzeuge sind besser , als Blauesflugzeuge. Wir möchten eine Bestätigung dazu haben . Deshalb haben wir ein Vorschlag zum Alle : Sehr geehrte Piloten ! Nehmen Sie am nächste Krieg teil. Probieren Sie Rotesflugzeuge ! Ich bin sicher, , dass es gefällt Ihnen
,i am sure that he liked it also..... I would now ask his opinion about loosing as blue pilots,allthough blue side flew for more than half of the war with 4:1 or 3:1 quorum,and they flew as big teams with excelent cover and teamplay,they got many kills and streaks ,and they had many experienced bomber pilots and many many bombing missions........... but they lost.....Wecker59 писал(а): Ich bin sicher, , dass es gefällt Ihnen
