Helmets - FHR (10), Life (max is 40), Resist (max is 30, preferrable above 20, no poison)
Armors - FHR (10, 17, 24), Life (max is 60), Resist (same as above), strength (up to 15), dex (up to 10)
Shields - FHR (10, 17), increased blocking (10, 20), prismatic (up to 20, stack raises value), +paladin (1, 2), ed (only on higher defense shields, up to 100)
Gloves - strength (up to 9), dex (up to 15), resist (above), ed (above), ias (20), leeches (up to 3)
Belts - FHR (10, 17, 24), Life (max is 60), Resist (above), strength (20)
Boots - FHR (10), FRW (10, 20, 30), Resist (above, up to 40), dex (up to 9)
Amulets - +skills (1, 2), prismatic (up to 20), str (up to 20), dex (up to 20), life (up to 60), mana (don't know..), fcr (10)
Rings - resists (above), str/dex (up to 15), life (up to 40), fcr (10)
Martels, Ancient Axe, Executioner Sword, Lance - +barb (1, 2), ed (up to 200), ar (up to 300), -req (20, 30), elemental damages
Battle Hammer, Naga, Flail - same as above and +din (1, 2), ias (40), minus barb skills on flail
Rune/Gothic Bow - same as above minus skills, ias goes to 20, +zon

Helms
1) Keep in mind type of helm can really boost price. If the exact same stats were to fall on bone/grim over a Mask or full you can see a difference of price up to double
2) Look for these mods
25-30 Life (More the better of course)
Dual Resistance (Preferably Fire/Ice/Lightning, poison tends not to go over well) Also Triple resistance is possible and if they are in the 20's-30's with the life mod you could be pushing a 2/3 soj valued item depending on the resi.
FHR Almost a needed mod on any armor piece
So a soj worthy helm would be as follows
10FHR
35 Life
29 Light Resi
30 Fire Resi
That would probably fetch about a soj on euro especially if it is grim helm
Armor
Once again base armor type can make or break this all the best mods on a trellised armor drops the price. Look for Breast Plates (Best IMO) Ornates (for Barbs) Hard Leather armor (lower strength types tend to do well other than ornates.
FHR/Strength/Dex
Those mods have to be on the armor in some combination an armor has the possibility of dropping 24FHR so hope it spawns with high FHR or a good dex/strength combo something along the lines of 10Dex/10Strength or better!
Life- Once again life is a mandatory, 25 or more, on armors can get 50 I believe so 40 is doing quite well!
Resi and make sure its Dual resi, Once again to light/fire/ice poison doesn't go over to well.
So a soj+ Armor would be
Breast Plate
24FHR
48 Life
32 Light Resi
40 Fire resi
That is a soj plus on most realms and a perfect candidate for a socket to add the P Ruby
Shield
And again shield type makes or break it here, Grim or Bone is basically a standard, sometimes shields like Defenders, Pavises can make it as well
Another theme is FHR 17 of it to be exact all good shields have it and....
30/20 Faster block rate/Chance to block it's a must in classic where block is based upon the shield and not the dex
Prizmatic Resi 20-15 all resistance Preferably with stacked resi in Cold/Fire/Light
Now a shield like that could be a soj or more, but the highly valued shields
drop the 30/20 in favor of +2 to Pally skills
A shield with the following mods
+2 Pally Skills
17FHR
20 All Resi
(Maybe Stacked Resi)
Can go for over 2 sojs up to 5 sojs depending on type/mods
